Academic Council of the Diplomatic Academy

Academic Council — the highest collegial governing body of the Academy, which determines the key directions of its development and makes decisions on major issues of educational, scientific and organizational activities.

The Council includes representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Academy's leadership, heads of departments, heads of structural divisions, and representatives of the student senate. 

The Academic Council considers and makes decisions on the following issues:

• opening and closing of educational programs
• approval of curricula and educational standards
• strategic and prospective development of the Academy
• quality control of educational, scientific and methodological work
• development of international cooperation and partnerships
• personnel policy and advanced training of teachers
• presentations of employees and graduates for state and departmental awards, as well as honorary titles, including "Honorary Professor"
