Working Group Meeting for the HWCA and GREENKG Projects

On September 25, 2024, a meeting of the HWCA and GREENKG project working groups was held in the conference hall of the Diplomatic Academy. During the event, participants discussed the achievements of the projects and presented reports on the study trips organized over the summer as part of the projects.

 

For the GREENKG project:

Special attention was given to new ideas and proposals for implementing green practices in our academy. The working group members shared experiences and recommendations that could contribute to more effective use of eco-friendly technologies and improve the sustainability of our educational institution.

 

Baitugolova J., the project coordinator, shared the project concept currently under development. Kerimbekova R. and Maksat A. presented their trip to Vilnius University, sharing the experiences gained and the subsequent steps for implementing the project based on that information. Jolchubekov N. presented a trial website for digitalizing internal operations within the academy. During the discussion, questions and answers arose, with each participant sharing their opinions and adding their ideas to the discussion.

 

For the HWCA project:

Professors Baitugolova J., Abalova N., Ten A., and Shakirova K. shared their impressions of the training sessions held in Delft and Tashkent. Their presentations showcased the rich experience and knowledge gained, which will be valuable for our project.

 

Additionally, in a joint discussion with Professors Dzhorobekova A. and Alamanov S., the developed curriculum for the newly introduced Water Diplomacy program was reviewed. The participants discussed an improved version of the syllabus and possible joint projects with partner universities in Central Asia and the European Union.

 

On September 26, 2024, the coordinator of the HWCA and GREENKG projects, Baitugolova Zh., reported on the project results at the Academic Council of the Diplomatic Academy to the Rector of the DA MFA KR and the 15 members of the Academic Council.
