1. GENERAL PROVISIONS

- In accordance with the Cooperation Program between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic is conducting activities to accept applications and select applicants from among Kyrgyz citizens through a competitive process, with subsequent recommendations for admission to MGIMO.
- Only citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic are eligible to participate in the competitive selection process. Applicants may apply for the competitive selection process for only one chosen field of study.
- The main criteria for the competitive selection process are:
- on undergraduate programs — Results of this year's ORT (International Relations, Law) — the main test and subject test (in history and English), (Economics — the main test and subject test in mathematics and English).
- on Master's programs – English proficiency test results;
- on graduate programs – English test results.
- Document submission and entrance exams at MGIMO will be conducted remotely. Documents will be accepted in person.
- Admission to MGIMO is on a state-funded basis.
- In BACHELOR'S DEGREE Nine applicants who received the highest ORT scores will be recommended for full-time study in the following programs:

- COMMITTEE FOR THE COMPETITIVE SELECTION PROCESS FOR TRAINING PROGRAMS
- To recommend the admission of applicants to MGIMO, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic establishes an Admissions Selection Committee on an annual basis, which is approved by an order of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic.
- The Commission’s primary objective is to ensure the transparency, openness, and fairness of the competitive selection process, as well as compliance with and enforcement of regulatory requirements. In its work, the Commission is also guided by the principles of conducting the competitive selection process in a timely manner and ensuring its finality.
- The Selection Committee’s decision is officially announced on the same day and immediately forwarded to MGIMO via diplomatic channels. The Committee’s decision is recorded in the minutes.
- PROCEDURE FOR SUBMITTING DOCUMENTS
- Registration for the competitive selection process is conducted online on the Academy’s website.
- After registering, applicants must submit the original documents to the Admissions Committee of the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic.
- The Academy's responsibilities include:
- receiving and reviewing documents submitted by applicants;
- compiling applicants' personal files;
- ensuring that applicants and their legal representatives are familiar with these Rules and other necessary information related to the admissions process;
- Notifying applicants recommended for admission.
- When registering on the Academy’s website, applicants must fill out their personal information and the application form, and upload scanned copies of the following documents:
- BACHELOR'S DEGREE:
- A document proving identity and citizenship;
- A high school diploma, a vocational school diploma, or a certificate from the educational institution;
- Registration form for ORT for the current year;
- 3x4 photo.
MASTER'S PROGRAM:
- A document proving identity and citizenship;
- A diploma from a higher education institution, accompanied by an appendix, or a certificate from the institution;
GRADUATE PROGRAM:
- A document proving identity and citizenship;
- A diploma from a higher education institution, accompanied by an appendix, or a certificate from the institution of study.
- Applicants who submit knowingly false documents are subject to the penalties provided for by the laws of the Kyrgyz Republic.
- The fee for submitting documents is set by the Academy.
- PROCEDURE FOR THE COMPETITIVE SELECTION PROCESS FOR BACHELOR'S PROGRAMS
- Applicants' ORT scores are ranked based on their ORT results. Applicants with the highest overall scores will be recommended for further testing at MGIMO.
- In the event of a tie in ORT scores, priority for admission is given to applicants with higher scores on the subject-specific tests relevant to their field of study.
- Based on its review of the ORT results, the Commission decides on the list of candidates to be referred for further testing at MGIMO.
- Applicants prepare the required set of documents for online submission to MGIMO in accordance with the university’s established guidelines.
- In accordance with MGIMO’s regulations, applicants take an online written test and an interview in Russian and a foreign language at MGIMO.

- The entrance exam takes the form of an English language test and is administered at the AUCA Testing Center.
- The following grading scale is used to evaluate the results of English language tests at the AUCA Center for Distance Education:
- 396-473 баллов — удовлетворительно;
- 477-547 баллов — хорошо;
- 550-677 баллов – отлично.
- Абитуриенты, набравшие менее 396 баллов по английскому языку в ЦДО АУЦА, не допускаются к дальнейшему участию в конкурсе.

- The entrance exam takes the form of an English language test and is administered at the AUCA Testing Center.
- The following grading scale is used to evaluate the results of English language tests at the AUCA Center for Distance Education:
- 396-473 баллов — удовлетворительно;
- 477-547 баллов — хорошо;
- 550-677 баллов – отлично.
- Абитуриенты, набравшие менее 396 баллов по английскому языку в ЦДО АУЦА, не допускаются к дальнейшему участию в конкурсе.
