The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic

On November 25, 2022, as part of the International Anti-Corruption Day, the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic hosted a guest lecture on "Legislative Framework for the Prevention of Corruption in the Kyrgyz Republic". The lecturers were Dastan Dzhaparov, anti-corruption commissioner of the State Agency for Architecture, Construction, Housing and Communal Services under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic, and Chinara Ismailova, a postgraduate students of the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Students and teachers of the Diplomatic Academy took part in a guest lecture aimed at "anti-corruption" education of students, development of civil position of intolerance to corruption. During the meeting the lecturers revealed the essence of corruption, outlined the basics of domestic legislation on state security, listed the main legal institutions of anti-corruption in the Kyrgyz Republic, showed the social, economic and political consequences of corruption offences. The most active students were awarded commemorative prizes.

Such events conducted at the Diplomatic Academy are a tool for legal education of young people, which is a preventive measure in the fight against corruption.
