The event was organised by the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Insanat Public Foundation and the Ishenbay Abdurazakov family.
Welcoming speeches were made by the Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Azizbek Mamatovich Madmarov, Rector, Doctor of Economics, Professor Adamkulova Chinara Usenbekovna, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to the Kyrgyz Republic Hideki Goda.
At the event were invited public and government leaders, friends and associates, and those who knew him personally, who spoke about the activities of Ishenbay Abdurazakov as a diplomat and the trace that he left in the history of modern Kyrgyzstan, and noted the brilliant life and service to his nation of Ishenbay Abdurazakov, who passed away in 2014 and bequeathed a rich spiritual legacy.
И. Abdurazakov began his diplomatic career in 1971 as the third secretary of the USSR Embassy in Japan and rose to the rank of Consul General of the USSR in Sapporo, Japan in 1991-94. From 1996 to 1999, he served as State Secretary of the Kyrgyz Republic. After his resignation, he was actively engaged in public and educational work. He was awarded the Order of the Danaker in 2007 for his great contribution to peace, friendship and cooperation between nations and the Grand Ribbon Order of the Rising Sun, the highest state order of Japan for foreign nationals, in 2008.
