The round table was moderated by Zainidin Karpekovich Kurmanov, PhD, Professor at the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Welcoming speeches were made by Chinara Usenbekovna Adamkulova, Doctor of Economics, Professor, Rector of the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, Shadurdy Oveznepesovich Meredov, Chancellor of Turkmenistan in the Kyrgyz Republic, Leyla Khiyanovna Lurova, Deputy Chairman of the Committee on International Affairs, Defence, Security and Migration of the JKR, Aidai Muktarbekovna Omurkulova, Director of the First Political Department of the MFA of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The gala event was attended by heads of diplomatic missions of several foreign countries accredited in the Kyrgyz Republic, representatives of the business community, veterans of the diplomatic service of the Kyrgyz Republic, representatives of higher education institutions of the Kyrgyz Republic, professors and students of the Diplomatic Academy.
The speakers were: Danil Tursunbekovich Ibraev, President of Kyrgyz Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs; Zhyrgalbek Kalmuratovich Sagynbaev, former Chairman of the Kyrgyz part of the Intergovernmental Turkmenistan-Kyrgyzstan Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific, Technical and Humanitarian Cooperation; Janysh Sultankulovich Rustenbekov, ex-Chargeman of the Kyrgyz Republic in Turkmenistan; Aynur Eshimbekova, Professor, Ph. D., The speakers pointed out that in their speeches, it was pointed out that the participants included: Jorobekova Ainur Eshimbekovitch, Professor, Chair of International Relations and Law of the Diplomatic Academy under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, Osmonbetov Edil Kubatovich, Researcher of the National Institute for Strategic Studies under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Baktygulov Sheradil Jumadilovich, Expert of the National Institute for Strategic Studies under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The speakers noted that Kyrgyzstan and Turkmenistan, in implementing a peace-loving foreign policy, consistently follow the principles of universal peace, good-neighbourliness, mutual respect and equality. Participants in the round table noted the wide range of opportunities for future development and benefit of the two countries and assessed the positive dynamics in political and diplomatic, trade and economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation between Turkmenistan and the Kyrgyz Republic, acknowledging the current level of the Kyrgyz-Turkmen partnership in all areas as high and constructive and progressive.
