Duration of study: 4 years- full time

General characteristics of the training program. Mastering of the principle educational program in the present direction aimed at the development of the personal qualities of the students, formation of general cultural and professional competence in accordance with the requirements of the State Educational Standard of Higher Professional Education of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The area of professional activity of bachelors includes:

  • International political, economic, scientific-technical, military-political, humanitarian, ideological relations, world politics;
  • Regulation of global, political, economic, military, ecological, cultural, ideological and other processes;
  • Other areas of mastering  of the global space;
  • Diplomacy, international relations and foreign policy of the Kyrgyz republic;

Discipline Annotations

  1. Basics of the international security and arms control.

The subject study of the discipline is international security and its role in the formation of the global world. The course contains the basis information on the current political process in the world and national interests of Russia in the context of international security; the principles of construction and peculiarities of the international security systems; the tendencies of the collective security formation systems; the conceptions of the national security insurance of the leading foreign countries; international regimes; and control of weapons of mass destruction.

  1. Present-day international relations and world politics.

The course program focuses teachers and students on the study of the theoretical-methodological and practical foundations of the theory and practice of the contemporary international relations and world politics. The course program “Modern international relations and world politics” is designed to the direction “International relations” bachelors.

  1. International security: global and regional levels

The course program gives the students the idea of the basic notions, categories, theories and conceptions in the sphere of national, regional and global security.

  1. International c conflicts, peacemaking, military intrusion and gender.

Study of the present course will promote for acquiring extensive and systematized knowledge in the theory and practice of international, regional and local conflicts of modernity, on the ways, measures and means of their settlement in the negotiation process.

  1. Economic and political processes in the world and KR in global politics

The current stage of the world development is characterized by the significant changes in the economic and political processes. One of such changes is the involvement of wide layers of society into these processes. Under these conditions, it is important to identify the specificity of the political behavior of various communities and individuals, motivation of their actions, formation of political views, etc., in the contemporary political system and political culture of the oriental communities. Without the study of the economic and political processes specifics, manifestations of globalization, it is impossible to form an adequate picture of the nature and essence of the modern world and global politics development.

  1. Diplomatic and consular law

The course focuses on diplomatic and consular law. The main issues and questions to be studied in the process of the discipline teaching are regulated in detail. The present –day  role and importance of the diplomatic and consular law under existing not simple international relations and situations in the world are emphasized.

  1. Globalization and foreign policy challenges

The subject of the discipline is contemporary globalization tendencies in international relations and the place of Kyrgyzstan in global politics.
